How we work
Prices and process stated like a menu, not a mystery. Every engagement follows the same ladder, and every rung's fee credits toward the next within 90 days.
1. Strategy Session — $500, 60 minutes
A working session, not a sales call. You bring the problem; we bring questions and pattern-matching from systems we've actually shipped. Within 2 business days you get a written 2–3 page brief: what we'd build, what we wouldn't, and what it should cost. The $500 is credited in full toward any engagement. If you never hire us, you still leave with a plan. Book here.
2. Fixed-scope sprint
A one-to-three week engagement with fixed deliverables — an opportunity map, a technical architecture, a compiled growth list, or a working proof of the riskiest piece. Priced up front. No open-ended discovery billing.
3. Build
We ship the system — with typed tool contracts, human approval gates on anything that sends or spends, append-only audit logs, and a test suite that makes the demo repeatable instead of lucky. Fixed scope, written handover.
4. Run
Ongoing retainer for teams that want us to keep evolving the system as models change. Because our builds are model-agnostic, model deprecations are a config change, not a rewrite. Retainer slots are limited and we say so publicly — supply is senior humans, not a bench.
Our engineering defaults, regardless of industry
- Deterministic code for everything that must be correct; AI for judgment, drafting, and parsing. The fastest part of our AI systems usually contains no AI — that's deliberate.
- A human approves every side effect. Every action lands in an audit log. We built these habits in HIPAA-regulated software and we can't imagine starting without them.
- No vendor lock-in. Model calls route through a gateway with fallback; one of our shipped systems switches between Claude, GPT, Gemini, and Grok live.
- Boring, accessible interfaces. Semantic HTML, honest headings, screen-reader-friendly throughout — including this site.
- Honest claims only. Our case studies are anonymized because client names are confidential, and we don't publish invented metrics or testimonials. What we will do is show you the systems running, live.
