Accessibility
Accessibility isn't a compliance checkbox for us — it's the house style. Boring, conventional, legible-when-read-aloud interfaces are what we ship for clients, and this site is held to the same standard.
What this site does
- Semantic HTML with one
h1per page and a logical heading hierarchy. - A skip-to-content link on every page, and visible focus indicators.
- Link text that says where the link goes — no "click here."
- No JavaScript, no carousels, no modals, no motion, no autoplay.
- High-contrast text (WCAG AA or better throughout) and honest underlined links.
- Layouts that reflow at high zoom and respect your text-size settings.
Booking and third-party flows
Session booking runs on Cal.com and payment on Stripe. We link to Cal.com's full-page booking flow rather than embedding it, because a full page is a cleaner experience with a screen reader. If any step of booking doesn't work with your assistive technology, email hello@4boots.us and we'll book you manually and send an invoice — no friction, no penalty.
Our target and our gaps
We target WCAG 2.2 AA. If you find something that falls short, tell us — we'll fix it, and we mean the turnaround to be days, not quarters.
Why we care
Assistive technology is part of daily life at Four Boots, not an abstraction. It's also part of what we sell: every copilot we build for clients is expected to work without a mouse.
